The Borough of Lodi's Registrar of Vital Statistics is responsible for filing, maintaining and making available to authorized individuals 
all records of births, marriages, civil unions, domestic partnerships and deaths which occurred within the Borough of Lodi only.

This application process can only be handled through the Borough of Lodi if (a) one or both individuals currently, physically, resides in the Borough OR (b) the couple resides outside of the State of New Jersey but will be having their ceremony in the Borough. If both individuals reside in New Jersey but NOT in the Borough of Lodi you are required to contact the Municipality (town) in which you currently reside.

We do not maintain divorce decrees or divorce information, that is filed with the Superior Court in the County that the divorce occurred.
